Biography

Mathew is the drummer and one of the founding members of Sydney metal band Switchblade. He can be heard on the band's debut album "The End of All Once Known" released in 2005. Picking up drumming at the age of 15, Mathew has been touring nationally with Switchblade since 2003 and played briefly in thrash metal band Descend from 2004-2005. Appearing at festivals such as Come Together, Metal For The Brain, Festival of the Dead, Against The Grain and high profile tours with Machine Head (USA), Trivium (USA), Nevermore (USA), Edguy (GER), Skinless (USA) and countless Australian metal bands has helped Switchblade become one of the most in demand and respected heavy metal bands in Sydney. Mathew is currently in pre-production for a new Switchblade album due for release in 2008.
